It does . I have already explained why i said it wasn't injustice to Xavi in 2009 and 2011 . Messi had impact without goals as well . So even if xavi was important to barca , Messi kinda deserved it for banging goals as well as providing impact without goals in 2009 and 2011

You have not explained anything other than contradicting yourself by saying Xavi was Barcas best player under Pep but you would have Messi as best player in world for three of those four years.

Basically claiming Messi only won four due to 'marketing' while Xavi was really the best.

Which is obviously wrong and Messi was the best.

Xavi was our best and most important player under pep . Take out all the goals and still Messi had impact in 2009 and 2011 , so he deserved ballon dor . In 2010 it was a different story with Xavi being the fulcrum of spanish team in a world cup truimph . I can explain it all day , still you will turn a blind you towards it . No probs i can carry on , as i am feeling bored

That does makes lot of sense . Ballon dor is not for the most important player in a system . criteria has changed over the years . Messi deserved it in 2009 and 2011 for being lethal as a goal scorer as well as being an impact player

Balon dor is for best player in the world.

You dont have to choose on the criteria you think others would. You can choose who you think was the best player in the world in those years and you claim Messi was best in world but not best at his club.

xavi wasn't the best of the barca bunch during the pep years. pep himself has only ever gushed over messi, and while he gave due credit to the other great players of that team, messi was the standout in his eyes.

He has repeated his system fairly well at Bayern and then City but cant replicate Messi.
