We need to decrease the messidependencia. What I like about Coutinho is that he is one of the very few people that doesnt seem intimidated by Messi as much so he feels forced to pass it to him.
We need more of that so we can resort to different plans. We have been predictable since 2012 bar when we had the pass the ball to msn strategy for a little while.

I find that when Messi is not around, Barca actually tries to.play like a team.

People are blaming leo for our failures when they don't realize our shitty tactics are meant for laliga teams only. In CL, you need to be adaptable to circumstances which we definitely don't and RM does and therefore have won b2b UCLs. Messi does deserve to be blamed because he is the best player in the team and you expect him to deliver in the biggest matches and when the team is in a difficult moment. That is why he is paid very handsomely and even more than CR7. He did not do that in both games against Roma while CR7 did against Juve who have one of the best defences in Europe and in spectacular fashion. Juve's defence isn't poor, its just that CR7 is just that good. Don't forget that Juve are a much better team than Roma too.

What do you think Ronaldo would have done if he was playing with the Barca against Roma. He would have gotten less touches than Messi and very few near the opposition box so he would have done less than Messi. It wasnt a "popularity contest" when Messi was leading 4-1 was it? Messi performing against Leganes isn't the same as Ronaldo performing against of the best sides in Europe. Messi has gone missing in the CL QF stages for a while now and you know it while CR7 has been on fire in the CL. He is breaking records left, right and centre. Messi should have been motivated to reply but he wasnt. He was just walking and wasnt making any movement for his teammates to find him, far too static.

Also add in that Ronaldo won the Euro's with Portugal while Messi skied his penalty against Chile. Its just too much.
