Nobody cares about Copa Del Ray. Unfortunately CL far and away supersedes LA Liga too.

Ballon Dor already touted as a shoot out between Ronaldo and Salah in CL final. whoever wins that game if Liverpool go through.

Beyond that itd take Messi winning the World Cup which is as realistic as Salah winning it for Egypt.

Messi is still like a kid who enjoys playing ball in the backyard, completely for fun and is solely driven by interest and mood of the day. He needs to know when to take a rest for the greater good of himself and the team.

after some time (of playing) three days, there's a period of the body when it does feels fatigue, and when it felt more prone to injury (before he said the more you think about injury the more it likely to happen and so on).

He risk it when he already knows it's reaching its limit, due to never wanting the feel, the touch and competitive feeling went down. He love the game too much that he thinks the body could always follow the mind, Everytime. In many occasions that maybe true, but not all the time.

And he forget one thing. He's playing it with everyone else, with different take regarding the 3 days matches. Even if he does has the physicality and mentality for that, not everyone has the same condition, there's gonna be up and down, everyone has their own physical clock.

he's at his best when he's rested in preparation for a big game. he's not tired then or saving his legs and goes full throttle. CL finals for example.
