If Aguero turns up then he can really shine. He wasn't there for most of last time. Hopefully, he'll bring his club form.

hope he plays well, wins and then possible score some goals (because every goal he scores this month could be his last goal with NT), sure it's not against Iceland the time to make a statement (and he seriously needs to do it but not tomorrow).

Does not matter whether he scores tomorrow, just need Argentina to win. His personal objective at his WC is to win it and everyone knows it. Just hope he makes it to another final.

Dont see that in Portugal.

They looked crap tonight bar Ronaldo.

One man team more than a well oiled outfit in this game.

Fact is Ronaldo was main reason they were in that final and as I said Argentina beat Chile without Messi and couldnt with him doesnt mean they have a fantastic team that can win without him.

Argentina beat Chile when Chile were a shambles at the start of the tournament. Once they trounced Mexico they found form. The only reason argentina were in the final was Messis goals and assists and the only reason they won their group at the last world cup was definetly Messi with 3 of his four goals solo goals

As good as Ronaldo's performance was, people always forget about the group stages pretty quickly. Nobody remembers Messi's group stage performance vs Juve for example.

Doesn’t matter, Lo Celso should be starting. Biglia got no business starting for Argentina.

Only reason would be that he has Salvio at RB and wants both him and Taglifico/Di Maria providing all the width and wants two DMs to cover it.

Would think Lo Celso will start in next couple would think.

Only claiming they were a shambles because Argentina beat them in that game.

You dont get the point.

Something that me and my friends were talking is that we have the feeling that Ronaldo is playing FIFA with "momentum" on his favour.

Some examples: he has a bad touch, almost loses the ball, but the defender fall and he keeps the ball. He shoots from bad angles with poor precision/power and the GK fails. He was invisible against Juve and suddenly gets a penalty, scores and win.

I'm not questioning Cristiano abilities, he's one of the best in his position and there should be no doubt about that.

But we noticed that too often he makes a bad thing or has a bad decision, that is followed by defenders failing or making strange mistakes. It feels like he's supposed to be sucessfull in the end. I wonder if it's just "luck" or something else.

Can't say I agree with tthat. Messi's fantastic group stage performances when he bailed out Argentina during World Cup 2014 is always mentioned to justify as one of the reason why he deserved to be MVP in that tournament.
