Messi is not a doctor, it shouldn't be down to him

agreed. In times like this if the doctors say that Messi shouldn't play, EV has to not play him. but he still lets the veteran players play whenever they want to.

if the doctors say that he can play, then i have no problem with him playing as long as his arm is healed 100%

Other than trying to win some Ballon d'Or votes or improve his stats, I really don't see the point of him playing

The problem is that he's surely not fully fit and there's no need to rush back when we are in such a strong position in the group.

Fitness isn't the problem, there's no muscle problem and he has been training since more then half a week, the question is if his arm has healed a 100 %, this isn't a crucial game so absolutely no risk should be taken.

Fit was the wrong word to use, but my point is he is likely not 100% ready to deal with a fall on that arm which could very well happen.

Please God no. This is going to end badly. Messi falls down so many times in a game, so it would be very risky. Especially Inter. They have their hooligans.
