6 points in the league is nothing. 10 I would've been comfortable with. But 6 before crucial CL stages is basically nothing.

No point in taking any risk, there's still a return game and the League & CL is simply more important even if it is a Copa Classico.

The chasers have those same cl matches (atleti much more difficult actually) and league matches equally tough. Barca just has to not totally implode and the league is had. I think we should see if a half starter/half sub team gets it done in bilbao.

Again me personally, smashing real out of CDR and supercup is more important than 2 subpar rosters in league in the big picture. I can see how others might see it different.

If Atletico goes out against Juve (which is about 60% chance), they will only have the Liga to play for, since they are out of Copa, while we are competing on 2 fronts (copa semis over at that point). That is a prime position to catch us and make our life difficult.

If Messi has any doubts then rest him completely. We can’t afford to lose him during the CL crunch time.

I’d rather lose to Real Madrid in the copa and rest him.
(Francesc Aguilar] | “Someone who’s close to Messi confirmed me that he is not going to take any risks against Madrid if he doesn’t feel fully recovered, and also told me that Messi has clear priorities on all three competitions.”

I hope they rest Messi and Dembele both. No point in risking them,

We can play,

Coutinho Suarez Malcom
Vidal / Busq / Raki / Arthur (any 3)
Alba Pique Lenglet Semedo

Subs: Bob, Alena, (Vidal/Busq/Raki/Arthur), KPB, Murillo, Dembele (in order of priority)

agree except for Roberto instead of Malcom

Just don't risk him. If we can keep an active result, the 2nd leg is at Bernaleo, so...

Just please, don't do anything stupid with Leo and Dembouz, for fuck's sake.

Messi misses practices a few times a year when he needs rest. A day or two of inactivity might be all he needs.

We showed that we can beat RM even without Messi. The last time we thrashed them 5:1 and even before 0:4 when Rafa was the couch. I'm optimistic about our chances. I don't get why some fans on this forum are afraid of this Solari's Madrid. this RM is the worst in last 10 years or so. We're the one to blame if we don't win this tie comfortably tbh.

(Marcelo Bechler)

Dembele went back to training in the field today. Prediction was that he'd been gone for 15 days, which means coming back on Wednesday.

Messi did work at the academy, which is normal. It didn't even take any more tests.

The two will be available for the classic Wednesday.
