if he wants to win golden boot, then there are fucks to be given. How can a pro-madrid paper be given this duty and not the spanish leauge REEF itself?

I know that but the tweet I posted yesterday is from a Marca journalist, he should know better than us I suppose. He still saying with any doubt in his last tweets that gol is invalid for pichichi and golden boot so things are changed or he's a glorious moron who doesn't know what he's saying. I'm so confused why is there even a conversation about this? Not only a conversation but Marca even writes this off as an own goal?
And how are Ligue 1 players eligible for pichichi award? Messi would be in triple digits there by now.

Marca is definitely involved with the award in some capacity but when you look at the past winners, ceremonies you see official goal stats have been used not marca's own made up ones.
Off course its possible they have changed some things.
Last year they also made a rule that in case of a tie (like in 2013/14) the players with the least minutes wins.
I guess we will see how this plays out.
