I would, Messi usually saves Argentina from epic fails against much worse opponents--see getting them through South American qualifying that wasn't certain until the end because they were so atrious without him. See him scraping them over the group stages at the WC. What Messi can't do is beat a reasonably talented and well run opponent by himself. I expect Messi's Argentina to go out to Brazil, or possibly Colombia, Uraguay or Chile if they land in the other bracket, but not ultimately doomed by a minnow with nonone on their roster who could play for Argentina.

Ordinary game by Leo’s standards. Started very good but faded as the game went on. Very clear to see that there are not a single teammate on the same wavelength as him. So many times when he was in space, the pass was overhit. Looked grumpy at the end.
