Hi All,

Long time lurker here, decided to register to post my thoughts.

I think that in order to win Barca has to keep Alves and Abidal back. If you remember last year in the Champions League, Alves and Abidal stayed back and were no longer making those forward runs. We won that game. I think this is the key because when Real counter, they do it on the flanks.

Also, a tie in this game is not a bad result at all. This would leave us three points back really since the return fixture Barca will win 100%.

Anyway, I'm too excited. I wish the game would start

Why do you interpret it as 4-4-2? It looks like the usual 4-3-3 with Fabregas as a false #9 and Messi out wide.

Which would make sense to start like that by the way. Because in second half: Villa out, Pique out. Fresh Sanchez in, fresh Pedro in. Go 3-4-3.
