You're right, Irv, Barca has quite a history of coming through in the big games, it should surprise no one if they win this Saturday, although they have to be considered the underdog. I'd take a draw right now.
I'm nervous about the soundness of Barca's back line this year, they have yet to convince me, and the RM offense is the ultimate test. But RM has bad problems dealing with the defensive pressure from Barca's forwards and midfielders. Maybe most importantly, the agility and quickness of Barca's attackers has exposed the lack of same from RM's defense.
I hope Pep subs early, so he can get the advantage of his depth of great talent. I can see Cesc, Cuenca or Pedro coming off the bench and winning this one with a late goal.

These are the 11 highest paid/highest transfer value. Of course Pep will want to get Cesc on the field, his form has been fantastic.
But with this lineup, who will provide the width on the front line, playing no real wingers? The problem with a front line of Cesc, Messi and Villa is they all like to play in the middle. For this reason, his speed and his superb defense, Alexis starts, Cesc does not.
