Alves not vital? Ok. But seriously, it was his free day. Why so much overreaction? As long as he is fine for training tomorrow, who cares if he spent one night out? As for demanding 20m or not, we don't know how much he wants. Last figure I saw was 16m, not 20m. Many teams are willing to pay him more than that, but he will renew.

Also, as I said, even if he's great (he isn't lately), being extra carefull with his lifestyle would make him even greater.
As far as other teams willing to pay him that, I don't even take that into consideration, if he wants money he can go, and watch Barça win everything on TV like the rest of us here, I'm only judging him compared to the only other guy in Barça earning as much as he wants, and that is Messi.
Anyway, lo que séra séra, I don't blame him for enjoying life, but don't tell me that's the best thing for Barça, it isn't, it's the best for him and him alone.

Players personal time being discussed like that is weird, be it any player. I still don't understand what the fuss is all about. Neymar takes great care of himself. I see nothing wrong with his current lifestyle. If he was drinking, I would agree, but being out is not a crime. We don't even know where he was or what he was actually doing. He is not Messi, he is a different person. But it's not like Messi also doesn't go out at night sometimes, he does. Like when he went out with Cesc and Pique to a casino, just the day before traveling to Manchester for the CL. We don't know all they do in their free time.

Why are you guys complaining, I would actually blame him if he didn't go to party with chloe, wtf.
Gotta realise he's 24 years old and a top, elite footballer has to be very responsible to reach that level, in regards to training, skipping parties and other social interactions etc, so it's normal to step out of this military like routine once in a while. Yeh, these guys are rich but their lives are hard, training all day, having their schedule fixed by the clubs' matches or sponsors all the time.
As long as he doesn't go into ronaldinho mode it's fine.

He IS giving something massive in return.
He was instrumental on the treble last season and he is being instrumental this season for a possible second treble, even being the best player on world for the brief time Messi was out.
