What would it take for him tonight to prove you wrong?

I thought we don't play who's right/wrong game here. You disappoint me Jam.
But when you're already asking, any improvement will do...a simple pass and move in situations where he's usually hogging the ball, would be great.

Eh?

You are the one who brought up the 'right or wrong' game for Ney haters and I asked you what would it take for him to prove you wrong as you said he could.

The real answer is there is nothing he could do though I understand that and it was silly to ask. Sorry for dissapointing you.

Let's talk after the game about Ney.In the meantime, how's the weather in Scotland? It's all gray here.

I love when you are so kind and pretend that we actually bought the most expensive player in a footballing history (his current worth) behind Messi and Cr7 to win La ligas?

Neymar is like Pep to Bayern.
When Bayern brought Pep, they didn't expect "only" Liga titles.
They expected to rule the Europe.

It didn't happen.
Pep had nice stats, like Neymar at Barca, but at the end of the day, Pep didn't bring for what was he hired.

Just a theoretical question:
Imagine Barca's team without Neymar winning a CL 3 times in 8 years.
And then imagine (for example, if we won't win CLs in 2017 and 2018), a team with MSN, the most expensive players ever in our team, winning it 1 in 5 years.

Don't you think that it should be considered as a failure?
Not only Ney's, but Suarez's and Messi's also.

Man Utd didn't buy Pogba to end 4th in EPL.
They are expecting better stuff in the future.

You can pretend how much you want, but we seriously didn't buy Neymar+Suarez (and we already have the one and only Messi), to "settle" down with La Ligas and Cdrs.

If we all agree that on paper Barca is still the best team in the world (on skills).
Then, one more time, just try to imagine if we'll win only 1 CL in 5 Seasons with Neymar or with MSN.

Isn't then something gone wrong?
We have the best and most expensive team ever and yet we are weaker in Europe than in the past.

Something is wrong, isn't it?
Either these players aren't that good, either they aren't clicking that well, or they just have a poor/drained mental strength.

I don't want to sound as if I am preaching, but older Barca's fans needed to suffer for decades while we had much weaker players, teams and coaches in the past.
And now, with the best Barca's team ever (on paper), we should be happy with La ligas and Cdrs?

Well, sorry guys, but lol.

Of course we expect CLs. But to expect as many CLs as prime Messi,Xavi,Iniesta etc is unrealistic. You severely underestimate Leo and it is unfair to compare Ney to him.

He is a fantastic player but only under the right circumstances. If things don't go his way or he's not comfortable with something, he depletes. For the kind of money we could get for him, I don't think he's worth it. Could buy 3 absolute elite players if we sold him to PSG.

People criticizing him should criticize Enrique

When he was forced to play in the middle, sandwiched by the defense, he sucked against Monchenglabach and today..

When he was shifted to the wing (in half time), his natural position, he played good and Barça got much better in both games

Why does Enrique repeat the mistake again?

What's the excuse for him today? That he scored a penalty?

I really hope his musician career takes off, because his football future doesn't seem too bright at the moment...

Zero impact.

The whole team sucked, but really, this is a 200M guy.
A best player, a leader, playmaker, a key guy.
He makes zero impact in any tougher match.

What he brings to a team really isn't worth 200M, we can really get 2-3 top/different players for that money and we wouldn't lose too much without his (non existent) impact.
