There are other players, younger too, able to provide the same stats + better overall playing ability. FFS, the guy can't even fucking finish. Most of the goals he's had this season weren't even convincing. The only ones I'll truly rate are Spurs, Sevilla Spanish Cup, PSV, and Leganes (or was it Levante?) goals. Every other goal was fluky as fuck, and it shows considering how terrible his composure in front of goal is.

Only Mbappe would be better, and hes the player that have give us more points after Messi.

Barcelona bias. Sancho has better stats. Rashford has similar stats. Seriously, look at their goals and compare them to Dembele's. They actually display quality positioning, composure, and technique in front of goal. And they don't display not nearly as much as the technical inconsistencies Dembele does. I'm fully convinced Dembele will be one of those players capable of scoring a wonder goal every now and then, but will never amount to being a consistent world class player. You should all congrats BBZ for another prediction before its too late.

Yes he would be able to have improvement in his play, he showed it before he got injured, all around great performances. He has looked out of form the last few games but still was decisive on key moments as showed on Wednsday with two assists.

he has a point though.. I mean, right now we are basically playing with a false-RW in Messi which is not only hampering Dembele playing his main position but also our RB is getting overloaded by the other teams RW+RB because Messi is in the centre walking.. ITS SO OBVIOUS almost every damn game, i cant believe EV refuses to address the issue. Dembele at RW with Semedo combo looked good whenever we tried it and Semedo being more defensive helps with Dembouz defensive deficiencies (hes improving)

He's far more impressive there with more freedom in some aspects than on the LW. Feel like we are forced to stick him there because Valverde doesn't want or have it in him to actually switch Messi and Suarez around on the front line.

No he plays left because Messi plays there. Otherwise Suarez will have ti be dropped for false 9 Messi and we all know how that got found out under Tito and Tata.

I really hate that he got injured when he had some good momentum going on.

Before his injury, his shielding of the ball improved and his finishing was getting better and now that he got injured it's back to square one again. Just needs to get his mojo back and get focused as well.
