and he probably plays for the wrong team. Put him in counter-attacking team and he would light up. We are too slow, there's never help for him in attack.

Barca has quite a few older players who are getting slower by the season. Dont think Barca is that much slower than most top euro teams.

Another big factor is that Barca tends to have a lot more possession than most teams which does not give Dembele many chances to counter-attack.

It's not just his brain but his technical ability too. The guy literally doesn't know how to receive the ball. What the fuck were his youth coaches doing all these years? Should have forced to do futsal or some shit when he was younger. Considering we're stuck with him because he cost 140m+, I bet we won't see a Neymar/Ronaldinho like winger in our team for years. I don't mind sticking with Dembele, just get us another winger with actual close ball control.

There are other players, younger too, able to provide the same stats + better overall playing ability. FFS, the guy can't even fucking finish. Most of the goals he's had this season weren't even convincing. The only ones I'll truly rate are Spurs, Sevilla Spanish Cup, PSV, and Leganes (or was it Levante?) goals. Every other goal was fluky as fuck, and it shows considering how terrible his composure in front of goal is.
