I think Barca should propose a 1 year loan deal. BVBs big problem, and one of the main reasons why they are reluctant to sell is because there's little time to look a replacement. Offer them less than what they want, maybe only 90-100m but pay it next year. Basically 1 year loan deal with an obligatory buy out clause. Barca saves 40-50m€ and BVB has an FFP advantage next year to look for new players and replacements.

That doesn't make sense. How does dortmund have an ffp advantage by selling next year for less money?

We can buy Griezzman next year for 100m who is a proven player at top level.

Because this year they won't manage to get all that money back on the market, so everything they have left over will be wasted in their FFP balance sheet.
But next year they'll have 2-3 months time to spend 100m+ what they earn anyway to not only find a proper replacement but to make general squad improvements i.e. RW, 2 new CBs, and an Aubameyang replacement.

and till then you plan to line up Deulofeu in CL?

First of all, you are talking about Dortmund. They will not spend big. Second of all, i'm almost sure it will have no effect on FFP also because you can get approval from UEFA. Third, if it's true what you are saying then it's a bad deal for Barcelona because then it will have a negative effect on their balance since the money from neymar will not count for FFP and they have to spend big next summer which means they have less to spend in upcoming seasons to meet FFP.

"Hello Dortmund its Barto here, I know you don't wanna sell Dembele now since its difficult to find a replacement this late into the transfer window but how about we still take him from you now, but as a loan for a year, then pay you less money next year than we're willing to pay now? .................................. Hello? Dortmund?........................"

Lol at the loan deal. We need now a solution not next year. I Don't like Griezmann either.

We'd have Dembele now, Dortmund would loan him to us for a season before we'd buy him next summer. At least that's how I've understand Yannik's post.

But of course this won't happen, lol.

Dortmund have said £130m or no deal
You're info is out of date.
'Kicker' One of the most reliable sources for dortmund, Said they're willing to let him go for 120m euros.
'Rac1' one of the most reliable sources for barca, Said they're willing to let him go for 120m, Bringing it down from 150m they initially asked for

These are two reliable sources, Cross confirming each other.

1. Dortmund not spending big doesn't mean Dortmund doesn't want money for replacements. They will not spend big on ONE player, but spend medium on at least 3 on several positions.
2. Not sure what you mean with approval here.
3. Yes, it has the effect that Barca will pay 33% less less at the expense of having the deal happening 1 year later. Which also means they can sign more players THIS year, (Coutinho, Seri/Paulinho and whoever you want) and BVB who are not in negotiations with anyone can have their transfer window happen NEXT year, when they have more time to plan. Win-Win.

If you loan a player, then you have him. This year. Immediately. Understand?

Again, the problem is not that the fee is too low, but that you are paying compensations for BVB because of the fact that they won't find a replacement for him this year. We're in mid august and you're poaching their player. Wether you pay them 100m or 150m will make no difference this year, because BVB isn't gonna pull off either one 100m deal, or three 33m€ deals in the remaining 3 weeks of the transfer window. They'll sit on a pile of money and they can't buy stuff with it. That's the problem from BVBs perspective.

Next year the transfer window is open again and BVB can scout the market, but they can spend only a limited amount of less than 60-70m on several positions, because TV money in Germany is not like Spain or England. Getting a 100m+ income will effectively solve that problem. Therefor a loan deal with obligatory buyout makes perfect sense imo.
