Exactly. He played well some games at RB mostly against weaker sides, and now he suddenly is seen as starting material. We already did that mistake with Roberto, thinking he can be a very good RB based on some good couple of months against opponents who didn't bother him too much.
We need a RB, and one capable of starting for us. That new RB and Vidal and we're set. Roberto back in midfield. Vidal is a good squad player, like Paco is for example. But he is not good enough to start for us either at RB, or at RW.
As for Dembele, there's no excuse if we don't sign him. The guy is a great talent and literally said he wants to play for Barca.

It's not so much he wants to leave but that he is a fan of Barca and we'd be too good to turn down. If we offer him a spot in the starting XI he will come.

While Dembele has Barcelona on the mind he admits he isn't ready for the jump to the Catalan giants just yet. Speaking this week to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo about Barcelona, the hot prospect said: 'Not now, because I want to grow and be a protagonist every Sunday. 'But one day I will play for Barcelona.'

As many others I think this transfer will happen next summer. We still got to fix our RB position and this will cost us tons of money. There is the CM position too. I would take Dembele in a heartbeat, but we got to fix other positions first. We already have the most potent attack in world football and need to fix our defense before we can improve our attack. If Valverde can fix our midfield, signs a proper RB and improves our tactics MSN will play a major role in making Barça great again.
I know, Dembele would be great NOW if Valverde decides to play 4-2-3-1, but we can't afford that. You can't cover all positions in our starting line-up with absolute worldclass-players with the issues we have. Take Juve. Fucking Mandzukic played LW almost the entire season. I know he scored a beauty in the final, but this guy is far away from being the ideal player for this position. Take Roberto. He had some decent games at RB, but his defensive issues have hurt us more than Mandzukic' issues hurt Juve. If Roberto makes a mistake this will very probably end in a good chance for the opponent, if Mandzukic makes one there are 2 rows behind him to fix it.
It's the same with us and the RAM (whatever you want to name it) position. We've got (Rafinha), Vidal, Roberto, (Deulofeu), Denis and Gomes who can play there. Even Mboula could play a Tello/Cuenca - role if we can convince him to stay with Valverde being a coach who wants to give the best talents a chance in the A team. Not on Dembele's level, but I'm sure they can pull off some decent games there. All they have to do is fight and play their game. Take Pedro. He never was worldclass, but he gave his all and became a very decent player for us.
Let's not do the same mistakes Real did years ago by becoming another Galactico - team. Let's improve our squad point on point and give the players we have at least a chance

Edu Polo is more reliable. Fernando writes about many different, loose things and is mostly wrong. Edu, Romero and Rico are the best.
