So that means we'll have him back around January. The tough CL games are in March-April, which is good because he will be available.
What concerns me is that all these games until December would be huge for him to help him integrate into our system without much pressure.

That's the biggest problem autumn was ideal for his adaptation phase I am affraid that we won't get anything from him in his first season after this. I really really hope he won't be injury prone and that this is just one setback.

Well, that's a really bad news ... hopefully he can recover properly for the start of 2018 ...

And of course almost all of the tough visits in La Liga come in the first half of the season (against Atletico, Real, Valencia, Real Sociedad, Ahtletic and Villarreal) ... when I was looking at the schedule I was happy, as during the Champions League knock outs we would play the toughest opponents at home in La Liga ...

Damn, I was really looking forward to see him integrated into the team. :( Wish him a speedy recovery.

Not sure why such pessimism, since I doubt anyone expected huge impact from him in his first season here. What could be the issue is that he appears to be injury prone, but that's just a thought.

According to TM he didn't miss an official game so far in his career due to injury so I don't think he's injury prone. Just guessing but maybe this injury has something to do with him not training for 2 weeks before the season.

I bet this is the reason, that's why I can't understand a decision to play him two times in three days when he was clearly not ready for that.

Deu doesn't even have the stamina to last the whole 90 minutes. He will be rotated a lot. I think it will be with Denis.

Deu is the only one who can play on both wings. Denis is more AM than winger.

lol at the overreactions. the injury couldnt have come at a better time. were doing great right now and the team doesnt depend on him so its not the end of the world.
he'll probably recover alot faster than expected too anyway.

Well, the alternatives are Roberto (not a winger) and Paco (not a winger) or Arda (not a player). Deu won't be playing 90 minutes twice a week for sure in any circumstance.
