Wasn't he expected to be back on the field in February? We've just entered December.
I think he was suppose to be back Mid-Late January I believe. But he's obviously healing faster than expected which is good news.

now we just need to be careful with him in the next couple of months and not force him to play off the bat after he gets the green light.

He was expected to return on January the 1st. But now he might get some minutes in classico (which I'm against because of butchers like Horsey and Casemiro).

Nothing unexpected tbh.

Injury estimates tend to be conservative as in worst case scenario.

He'll have more than 10 days to train with the team so he'll essentially be ready to go.

Won't start or play him in the Clasico unless we chase the game or have it under control and can use his pace on the counter.

He was injured on September 16th, was announced it will be 3-4 months recovery so that means between mid December to mid January.
It could take couple of weeks before getting green light for games, so he seem on schedule

That's good then. I know the club officials said at a point that they want to ease him in in january so we could have him from february 100% fit. Now if he's back with the group that seems like a lot of easing in to do. Normally he'd get minutes in the clasico at this rate I think. He needs to work a lot because in the summer he didn't have proper training with the group like most of our players.

I also read that Dembele said he wants to play the clasico only a couple of weeks after his injury. I hope he doesn't say he's fit if he really isn't. This could be costly.

Ronaldo was never a great finisher in his younger days and look at him now, he's one of the best goal-scorers of all-time.

In his younger days he played wide in midfield. When he moved forward he instantly started scoring goals. Anyway, he’s never had a shots per goal conversion rate like a Messi or Muller.

If you look at his goalscoring record before Dortmund, it's quite good actually.

Yeah at Rennes. He took on more creative responsibility at Dortmund but he also wastes a lot. He wasted a golden opportunity against Juventus too.
