British tabloids are on fire these days.

"Chelsea want Dembele"
"Dembele angered at Messi and Suarez for their support for Coutinho"
"Coutinho doesn't speak with Dembele"

The last one could be true. Dembele is injured and doesn't show up at trainings, perhaps they haven't met each other, yet.
The comics here

Lel.
Aren't 99% of posts on this forum subjective predictions and subjective imagination?

If you say:
Dembele has such a potential, give him time, he will be fine.
= that is just your SUBJECTIVE estimation.
That he has enough of potential, IQ, ability to fit into our team.
And that with enough of time, he will fix his flaws.

It is okish to give him time since things might change, you are right on that one.
But still, expecting him to make it here is just your subjective estimation.
Based on:
1. his current potential
2. his estimated (potential, unmeasurable) ceiling
3. based on history of some other youngsters with a similar potential who eventually turned good

On the other hand, my estimation is equally as plausible as yours, except that it is negative.
I would estimate his chances to fail (or end as far from expectations) at 70:30.
Again, this is my personal estimation, the same as yours.
Why am I estimating that way?
1. based on his potential
2. based on his flaws
3. based on his flaws which lots of similar players in the past had and didn't make it at clubs like Barca, because of those flaws

So, I don't see too much imagination here.
Just two opposite estimations.

But hey, time will tell, whether your estimation was right, or mine.

Yep.

I mean, the guy said the reason we weren't winning any CL between 2012 and 2014 was Alexis Sanchez. Never mind our declining players, manager that had cancer, having an Argentine BBQ Chef as coach, etc.

Lel again.
So, you or someone adopted a story that we failed in a certain year:
1. because of a XX reason

Then someone else comes and says: no, we failed because of something else.
And you say: No. We failed because of a reason 1.

Lel. You won on arguments.

The same as how, majority say that we failed last season because of Lucho, Lucho's tactics, midfield etc.
Then, I claim that huge factors were also:
1. Neymar, a bad fit for our team
2. and our beloved 433

And then, you will say: no, you are wrong because of this or that.
Lel, even though we can't measure or test it in any way whether we would be better without Neymar or without 433.
And then, now, when we play without Neymar and without 433, my theory is still "wrong", because this is not because of Neymar and 433, but because of EV.

It is beyond ridiculous to even try to discuss deeper because nobody can prove majority of things.
And we just have some bandwagon opinion whom majority adopt and then we accept them as the truth.
As said before: we sucked because of Lucho.
NOBODY can test and claim that.

On the other hand, we can test our opinions and estimations on future events.
And here you go:
1. we'll see what will happen with Dembele (I don't have high hopes for him in our team)
2. on the other hand, you'll see an impact of Coutinho over the next few years

Again, I could be horribly wrong.
But this is why majority of posts here are personal estimations, predictions, or how you call them: "imagination".

When he doesn't backtrack all the time, sure. Even I am always right then

If I wouldn't backtrack and move away from some discussions, do you know how forum would look like:
Bbz: Dembele will fail
DonAk (or random user): No, he will not, because of XX
Bbz: Imo, he will, because of xx and xy.
DonAk: No, he will not, because of xx and zz.

And then repeat the same argument in circles for 20 000 times.
I will say yes, you will say no and nothing will happen.

After 6 months, if he won't improve too much:
I will whine even more.
You will defend him even more.
He is young, he was injured, he needs time, insert a random alibi:
Bbz: nothing will happen even after 2-3 years.

And then we could repeat the same thing for 80 000 times.

I mean, I fought with you for 3-4 years on Neymar's topic.
What? Should we go through the same shit everyday on Dembele's topic?
In 3 years it will be perfectly clear whether Dembele will be the next Ronaldinho or the next Quaresma, or someone not good enough to be one of leaders at Barca.

I can write 200 000 negative posts till then.
And you can write 200 000 replies.

Or we can avoid it, I will reply 1 salty post per week, and when I won't reply to your replies, you will say that I have ran away or lost arguments.
Yeah, THAT is the reason why I am not replying to you or to some others

Again, I told you before, an unwritten rule of debates in general and on internet is that once when you start to throw personal insults or mentioning other topics, you are losing a battle and arguments.
If your argument towards me about Dembele is: Bbz said that RM won 3 CLs because we had Neymar, then fine.
To some extent, Dembele should be more and more scared, if THIS is your main answer and argument.

I could write now 48 players on whom you were wrong, in whom you believed and who failed.
But what's the point?
We'll just write 100 random stupid replies in circles.
And they have nothing with Dembele.

We didnt learn anything IMO. Coutinho is just getting started and just returned from injury. Just like we didnt learn anything from his substitute appearance.

He plays too much Messiesque in that position (running into middle, even playing next to Don sometimes). Vidal, Dembele and Roberto always stuck to their position, unless Suarez wanted to switch sides.

You're welcome

Reminds me of what Guardiola told Henry.

So this guy got injured on 15 January and is out for 3-4 weeks. He will probably begin his recovering sessions in the sand at the end of this week, if I'm correct?
