Well, I think that Dembele needs someone to guide him, how to be a professional athlete. Rennes isn't at this level as a club to have veterans, who played on such a level, to learn from. At Dortmund he had Aubameyang, who is a party animal. Agents are his relatives, who also don't know a lot about professionalism. Also, I think his parents are not doing him any favours splitting at this moment, so going away for a day isn't a bad decision, since if the rumours are true, the athmosphere at his home is not great.

A veteran at our club will need to step up and show him the way how to be a top athlete. Be it Iniesta, Alba, Suarez or someone else. I don't care. Because if this guy learns how to be a professional, he will be a world beater one day.

Scratch some of what I said. The original article or tidbit seem way more ambiguous or rather suggestive from MD themselves than what I originally read. I can imagine it still being a discussion between EV and his team though. At least for Suarez considering he might get a yellow card just be complaining.

I would rest only Suarez, there's a risk that we won't score without Messi and Suarez on the pitch.
Besides Messi walks 90% of the time, so I don't think he's that tired.

You can't expect fans to be objective.

Mascherano is a club legend, so is Suarez, they proved their feelings for the club.

Also, Javier wanted to join us, he's a mature and a strong figure. Never caused problems for anybody since joining.
Speaking of Masche, he should be Dembele's role model.
He worked hard, did his best to fit in and soon became one of our truested opperatives.

I can't express who highly I rate that man.

the least of my worries are attitude worries.. although he makes those questionable decisions but the kid is kind of meek. it is his football qualities that make me doubt the fruitfulness of this deal especially with the money spent on him. if dribbling was enough to make you world class denilson would have played at far superior clubs.. dribbling aside, everything about his talent is overrated.

crossing ?.. since when do barca cross into the box ? i would say at least since the kluivert, enrique days.. some two decades ago. aubamayang is 188 cm, to whom demebele`s.crosses are useful here? i have started to have enough when he started to cross balls the last game. He needs to adapt his game. If he is truly world class he really need to. That is yet to be seen and he has already played one season..injury or no injury by this time i dont expect full bloom, but at least glimpses of hope at this stage.

He's played like five games, and showed more than enough glimpses of talent in those games. Perhaps you were watching the PSG ones and didn't notice, or simply don't want to notice. I mean, you cannot have high expectations considering Neymar kept dribbling into people all the time without a lack of end product unless someone served him for 80% time in Spain, and he's supposed to be the next Pele or something, a once in a generation level of player.

It's not only his crossing, but his ability to create chances in the final third with through balls and dangerous passes. He already has 3 assists here in 331 minutes which is an assist every 110 minutes.
