Of course he is going to have a attitude, oh I didn't play again las Palmas or Valencia, but you are going to play me in the catlan cup, gtfho.

If it were me and Id be like u kidding me right now right, so I have no issues with his attitude.

140m worth of player than anyone with a eye and brain can see is insanely talent and this is how you do me, he is being treated like he was munir.

:pique1:

I can't believe people were mocking Madrid fans for saying Asensio is better than Dembele, I would honestly take Deulofeu over Demfraud atm

 Asensio wouldn't sniff the pitch under Valverde. He'd rather play his workhorses. Dembele would be a guaranteed starter under Zidane if the alternatives were Paulinho, Gomes and Vidal, and he'd look like the best thing since sliced bread and the Madrid fans would be comparing him to Messi. While we shit on him because Valverde doesn't let him play, and the coach must always be right, just ask Arsenal fans.

Come to think of it, some of the Dembele haters here are probably closet Madridistas who want him to leave us so Madrid can snap him up later. Especially the ones who joined recently just to bash Dembele, like "The Great One."

Asensio-Kane-Dembele with Isco behind, might as well hand them the next 10 CLs right now.

This topic sure brings out some of the dumbest posters I've seen.

I'm not talking about the constructive criticism posts but I'm talking about the.

"LOL DEMFRAUD" "WORST BARCA PLAYER EVER BOUGHT SHIT"

And it's hilarious seeing Total Football like every single posts of theirs. It's like some dudes were just waiting so bad for Dembele to have a bad game to post some Juvenile garbage and instead of proper constructive criticism.

It's pretty sad how Barca fans actually want certain Barca players to fail just to post 'i told you so!' on a fan forum. not saying everyone should be happy all the time and criticism is valid but this is ridiculous

btw I lurked on here for ages as a guest and we saw exactly the same type of shit when we bought Neymar. would of been the same if we got Mbappe aswell

Jesus, the amount of shit Neymar got on here despite being our second best player...

I mean, fuck that snake, but fuck him for being a spoiled piece of shit, not for footballing reasons. I hate him and make fun of him all the time now, but he was a damn good player for us. Glad he seems to be regressing at QSG though, serves that traitor right.

Some people here were probably ecstatic when he stabbed us in the back. About half the Dembele haters here seem to be the same people. The rest being Neymar fanboys, Valverde fanboys who think the coach can do no wrong, and closet Madridistas.

I'm mean there's nothing wrong with being skeptical considering the money we spent.

It's just a sad sight seeing some fans actively want someone to fail before they even kicked a ball for us. Dembele is a very talented player, and even before he came here it's evident he has some flaws that need to worked on as he was only 20 years old and not everyone is some crazy R9, Messi talent at that age.

He came here and got injured for along time. Shit sucked as he never got the chance to settle in and adapt to how things are here. I consider this season lost for him, he will play here and there and the real test for him is if he can keep fit and get things in order for the start of next season. I think Valverde will keep drilling things into him he needs to improve to help him get a good start for next season.

I'm rarely someone who gets mad but some of these posts are just frustrating to read.

If I were Dembele I would be doing everything in my power to prove to the supporters I justify the price tag and I deserve to be here!

I would clear up rumours about a poor diet.

Compare Neymar when he first came here and Dembele, both young players miles apart. Yeah people critiqued Neymar fair enough but we could all see his talent and he deserved to play with genuine effort. Dembele has shown me nothing this seaso , the cup game was his chance to impress. Coutinho impressed in the 6-1 win where was Dembele?

Idc hate on me all you want imo he's a flop signing so far and it's u too him go earn the coach's respect and the true fans respect we all want him to succeed don't think we don't. But he has to show us why potential isn't good enough for a club if this stature.

Yada, yada, yada...

People like BBZ (and others ofc) actually give some facts with their opinions (sometimes so much of them that it's hard to read, because it's just too much) and base their opinions on them. While disagreeing (or agreeing), you respect the poster and their opinion. They actually help you to look at things from the other side and reflect your opinion on their views and say oh maybe I was wrong or say he has a point, but I still believe otherwise. It's called critical thinking.

Some of the people here are just hot-heads who just want Dembele to fail and be sold.

I'm a Barca fan. And I hope that all of our players turn out great and so, I even have some faith in Andre Gomes, who I wish that he will turn around his career and become a better player here (although, it's higly unlikely).

Replacing Ney was never going to be easy considering how talented he was despite some of the flaws he had.

It's going to be even much harder trying to replace the likes of Messi,Iniesta,Busi,Pique etc. Heck we are still struggling to fill the void Xavi left as well. We have been tracking Dembele for the last couple of years before Neymar decided to leave.

We didn't just decide out of the blue that "Oh he will be our Ney replacement" We tried to sign him from Rennes but he turned us down as he felt Dortmund was a better option as he would get much playing time and he promised Robert that one day he will be a Barca player.

There's a good chance that Robert was thinking of a Front line that included the likes of Neymar and Dembele together in the future, considering Messi and Suarez are getting older it's not out of the possibility either.

However Neymar decided to leave and we thought it was best to Bring in Dembele. He was 20 years old, and came off a really good season with Dortmund and we had an open spot for him. was the price Steep? hell yeah it was but there was no way Dortmund was going to let him go for peanuts.

Could have Robert and the club gone for more established players like Hazard? probably but there was no guarantee Chelsea was going to play ball with us in August of all times. However Robert stuck to his guns and brought in Dembele who thought of him as a future Barcelona player.

Dembele's career started off shitty, he suffered a bad hamstring injury that kept him out for months, he was robbed of a chance to get accumulated with Valverde's system and gel with the players. He came back but shortly after his arrival he got another injury which kept him out for 3 weeks.

Dude never had the chance to get going here. he had a slow start vs Girona but that was the first full game he got to finally play in a long time and he improved as the match went on and showed a lot what people were expecting.

and for today's game he had some positive moments with quite a bit of negative moments but we don't know if Valverde told him to not push himself as much and going by his post game thoughts Valverde seemed pretty happy with Dembele.

I'm willing to sit here and be patient with him. Hell I was patient with the likes of Gomes as well despite how bad his performances were last season. ( I even called him a raw Diamond )

Also, let's remember: today's game was a FRIENDLY. If EV told him to take it easy he actually did the right thing this time. Maybe he'll wise up and at least let him play the full 90 against Malaga? Let's hope.

Today’s game meant exactly two things: jack and shit. But of course the Dembele haters will use it against him a week and a half after he started a real game which was one of our best of the season and in which he did very well.

You can say the same about EV, hot-heads who just want that we lose because EV doesn't play Dembele.

Any fan with half a brain knew that when we were getting Dembele we were not buying the finished product. Dembele is a work in progress. We had to pay stupid money because Qsg fucked up the market.

Coutinho is the finished product and he is still adapting to our style of play. It is very rare for a youngster or even an experienced player to come to Barca and become an immediate hit. Players need time to adapt.

Arent's you the one who talks shit about all of our young players like Deulofeu and Suarez etc. Players who didn't get many chances and/or didn't have a full season to judge? You are one of those posters who want certain players to fail too.

The Great One, You are comparing a 20 year old youngster, with a 27 year old superstar. First of all, if we had signed Hazard, he would have cost around the 160-180 million euros, maybe more, while we signed Dembele for 105 million euros (+ 42 in add ons). So he was relatively cheaper and will provide longer service because of his age. And for Hazard's goal return, I would like to tell you that HE IS NOT A GOALSCORER, his main forte is playmaking. Plus there is no guarantee he would have started delivering in his very first season (see Coutinho, people said he will fit in like a glove, but in reality he is still adapting). And, Hazard also doesn't defend much, do you think EV would have allowed it.
And you just said Paulinho (who is 29 & finished product) who is a MF,is better than Dembele is a RW. That just proves that either you like to hate Dembele, or you are impatient, or you are a kiddo with low football knowledge.
