Everyone had high hopes for Dembele when he arrived at Dortmund, however everyone expected him to take a season to adapt and grow as a player in germany, no one expected him to dominate everyone in pre-season and quickly establish himself as Dortmund's main threat.

"Yeah but he had Messi doing everything for him. I'll wait for judgment when Messi retires and he becomes the main man."
