So he went out in Morocco on a Sunday night when given a couple of days off ahead of Las Palmas on the Thursday and that is the worst can throw at him?
Aye. Equally good or not is hard to tell but it's close imo.
Yeah and you are hearing it from Sport, who are angry with him for not giving them an interview.
Seriously, I wouldn't even wipe my arse with Sport, since it's got so much shit in it already.
Sorry, guys, but your story is off.
There hasn't been a single player in the last 5 years pushed out of the club by so many sources.
You guys are pushing your head in the sand.
On the forum, we can read all about:
1. he is the future
2. he needs time
3. there is no way we would sell him
4. he is a generational talent
In reality we have:
1. EV doesn't rate him at all
2. we have just bought a similar guy like him, Malcom
3. the board is obviously open to selling him and doesn't see him as awesome as our fans do
4. too many papers have turned against him
5. Deschamps rather played Matuidi as a winger than him in World cup knockout matches
When one journo or paper is talking bad about you (Sport), that could be an agenda.
When 2 papers are talking bad, something is fishy.
When a few papers are talking bad, a board is open for a move, a coach doesn't rate you, an NT coach uses Matuidi instead of you as a winger, something is fishy.
But love/hate aside, from a neutral point of view, you guys need to take off your glasses and accept that WAY TOO MANY coaches, board members and papers are against Dembele and are willing to get rid of him.
If is is only discipline, that is not a problem.
That can be cured over time.
If, on the other hand, EV, staff and board members are not happy with his footballing abilities, tactical adaptation, IQ and similar, then he is dead regarding Barca's career.
We'll find out in upcoming Months what is Dembele's problem.
But again, you will need to turn the page and accept that there must be something seriously flawed with him when so many coaches/papers have turned against him lately and are willing to try with new players/transfers.
This can't be only hate/agenda anymore.

Some amount of garbage wrote on here daily , why the fuck would PSG want Dembele ? They have seen how bad hes been with us and is worth nowhere near the ridiculous amount of cash we paid for him.
No team will be signing this guy anytime soon, hes here for at least another season and that will be mainly on the bench. When he does go we will be very lucky to get half what we paid for him.
Two words. Ter Stegen. A couple years ago.
Everybody wanted him gone, but we see how that ended up.
Give him a season and if he turns out bad, I'm all for selling him.
Also the only proof of his lack of discipline, was the Morocco nightclub photo, which was taken on his day off.
Yeh his was terrible for the first 6 months!
Yeh his was terrible for the first 6 months! He didn’t perform at all!
Mats is one of rare examples where a player managed to went from poor to awesome.
In terms of fan's view, the same as how many wanted Mats out and he improved, we could write 10s of other examples like:
Denis, fans wanted more chances for him. But nothing happened.
Samper, people wanted chances for him. He didn't get too many chances, but he either way didn't set the world on fire.
Bartra, people asked for more chances. In the end, ended as a player of Betis level.
So, regarding fans, yes, on some rare occasions a player will turn from poor to awesome (Mats).
Regarding papers and Mats again, I don't remember that story that well, but from what I am reading here, ONLY Sport hated Mats.
And he proved THEM wrong. Aka, ONLY Sport.
SPORT also hates Umtiti.
On the other hand, Sport hates Dembele...
MD turned against him lately.
Rac1 and other medias are also reporting that we are willing to sell, about unprofessional behavior.
Further, in the case of Mats:
1. you had SPORT and fans on this forum against him.
Yet, a coach and the board were on his side.
They even sold Bravo so that he could play.
And Mats played all the time, even when he played like shit.
So, there was a lot of faith from coaches, coaching staff and the board in Mats.
2. now, let's go to Dembele, who's story is on the last few pages often compared to Mats' story.
SPORT hates him.
Barto's papers MD turned against him.
A lot of other papers are saying that he can leave etc.
A coach, EV is not on his side, unlike in Mats' case.
The board, also isn't on his side, it seems.
Catalinutz said that Malcom is a sub for Dembele.
How on Earth can Malcom be his sub when he was never a starter except in the last 3-4 La liga rounds after we already won a trophy.
He was on the bench against Roma.
In CDR final, after he was a starter in La liga final rounds, he was on a bench again in a match which MATTERED.
Even if we remove love/hate, Dembele wasn't a starter till now.
Regarding Dembele, I was on "a bad" side among first with Neymar, Halilovic, Bartra, Adama, Samper (and Mats) and now regarding Dembele.
Since this happened 10s of times, there are only 2 possibilities:
1. papers, coaches and fans who are against him= are talking a total shit and Dembele will shut their mouth soon on a pitch
2. or, over time, it will show that haters were right. And what we are reading now on this pages are: those tough times when fans have to accept that their hero is not what it seems/or that he won't turn into what they hoped for.
Either guys against him are talking a total shit.
Or you are in a huge denial.
For the end, from an objective point of view, you have to realize that this will put even more burden on Dembele's shoulders.
He was meh in his 1st season, even though we paid 150 Millions.
This is his 2nd season: a coach is against him, we bought Malcom, some members of the board are against him, Sport is against him, some other papers are against him, more fans are starting to doubt him...
And if my estimation about him was right: that he isn't mentally strong as a person, plus he is still a kid and less mature than Malcom/Mbappe, this pressure, a few weaker matches, not being a starter could easily totally destroy him.
Don't jump on the 2nd part of my post as a hate.
That is a realistic view: a burden, pressure and expectations of him will be way higher in this 2nd season, especially after these articles and rumors about how a club is willing to let him go already.
My estimation: unless is he starts on fire right away, he could be benched quite soon, and that could cause a lot of new confidence problems for him.
I won't even mention what would happen if he picks another 1-2 Month long injury.
And please don't reply: he overcame pressure in Rennes and Dortmund.
Well, nobody doubted him there.
Coaches played him all the time.
He was a key player.
Fans and media were on his back.
So, not only that he will need to offer way more in footballing terms.
But he will also need to show a huge mental strength for all of this.
Let's see what will happen in upcoming Months.
