No he didn't. But he did the stupidest thing and presented them as the main targets publicly. Dortmund shafted us and Liverpool refused to sell, because they weren't happy with the way Segura dealt with it.

He said deals were 'close' I doubt that made all that much difference really but should have kept quiet.

Sarri who was the best best, is off to Chelsea, Tuchel is off to PSG, Allegri refused RM so no chance of Barca either, Pochettino won't coach Barca, Conte is Valverde 2.0, Klopp is building his legacy at L'pool.
So, Considering the lack of options next year, who would you replace him with ?
