Didn't watch all the videos but read the whole thing, I think he is exaggerating a bit here.
Even with Pedro days there was this type of movements, and we have a different FB here. Half of his "bad movements" were to allow Alba to fly on the left side
Dembele (especially on left side) is closer to a Neymar type of winger rather than Pedro. Pedro himself lost his starting place quickly when Alba arrived.

He's reading too much into it. He could do the same for every player and he would have found "mistakes". I love how he said he doesnt do one for Messi because he has no movement at all.

The fact that Dembele was the one providing the spark and movement as compared to Messi and Suarez was already a plus point to begin with. He doesnt look "in sync" because most of the times, players are just ball watching. Barcelona's attack should adapt to Coutinho and Dembele's faster paced style of football.

Indeed. Let vivacious youngsters be provided with freedom to create rather than succumb to gramp's senile geriatricball. Old man Messi will only benefit, if we allow youngsters set the tone.

Alba likes having a lot of space to run into when he goes forward without having another player on the left hand side blocking him to much.

Dembele knows this and did some compromising himself on the left to allow Alba to do his thing.

Yes, he was intelligent there. I saw that too. Neymar would usually occupy the left all by himself just because. Dembele was clearly trying to adapt so that they could create some plays together.

Yeah there's some stuff that he needs to work on but I commend him for getting and keeping Alba involved when he played on the left.

That's one of the problems I felt Neymar and even Coutinho at some points last season struggled to do when he was played out wide. Neymar had a bad habit of keeping the ball to much and forgetting about Alba and Coutinho had some issues with that but I felt he was a little better than Ney in that regard.

I mean some guys need to remember that Alba loves having that space in front of him to go balls out with his pace. If we had an Abidal like LB, Dembele wouldn't need to adjust to much. But with Alba you have to make room for him when he pushes up.

Great with some trust in him (although Valverde has shown plenty already - I'm sure it will continue).

Lets hope he never looks back from now on :barcascarf:

DEMBOUZ!! i still think he's raw as fuck, but more talented then mbappe. He just needs playing time, when he fucks up not to bench him, just let him be

More talented than Mbappe?

I hope you're right. Mbappe already is world class, a generational talent (as people like to say on this forum).

One can say that Mbappe already is the finished product. As natural a footballer and goalscorer if ever there was one.

Hope we get to say the same about our Mosquito soon enough (his display yesterday was encouraging).

Mbappe is actually only a year younger than Dembele is.

Both are different players in terms of skill set though.
