He is only in front of Malcom in the pecking order, and that is only because EV hates Malcom
Give Malcom one chance to show what he got and Dembouz will have played his last match for Barca.
Exactly. His time with Barca could be over soon. I think he could work with some other team. At least show flashes of talent.

At this rate Valverde will soon leave us a team with no wingers and the clubs gonna be forced to play 442 after he's gone too
Thats was his plan all along, and once all our wingers are gone we have to keep Ernie because no other coach would like his squad like that

arthur played 3 full matches, more or less the same young age, in a much more difficult field position, plays effortlessly great.

Inter 2:0
More or less, without him, we have not only survived these matches, but actually played quite well (NOT only because of Arthur, of course).
If we'll win against RM, what does it say?
= we have survived the toughest part of a season, without Dembele (and partly without Messi).
To some extent, EV is back to what he does the best: playing some sort of 433/442 with 4 (or 5) midfielders.
He has balance, he has more possession, his defense is stronger and he is winning again, the same as in the 1st part of 2017/18 season.
When we also played without Dembele, what an interesting coincidence.

I cannot argue with that and Arthur cost a fraction of Dembele without the lazy attitude.

I am angry with the narrative of young age and needing a season to «adapt» here. Dembele lovers run out of excuses because i see less controversy here nowadays.

EV is a genius, he will keep his job longer
Arthur's job is to back and side passes with little forward passes, you're comparing to an attacking player that dribble and shoot
And lose to Roma with the same strategy...

Dembele has to prove why he's wearing a Barca shirt, not the other way round.
He will get a lot of chances as there are tons of games ahead, but it's up to him. Otherwise we can sell him to a Prem club or something.
