anyone who even entertains the thought of wanting neymar back should pack their bags and go to redcafe.

would fit right in with the united fans who still pine for CR7 after 10 years and him scoring 450 goals for a direct european rival.

Won't believe anything about the Neymar rumors especially with the "PSG has agreed to Sell Neymar" Neymar is probably interested in coming back, but let us get real here. This is PSG, this is a club that spites us for going after the likes Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Veratti. And the amount of money they spent to get Neymar and do you think they will just "Yeah here you can have him".

I think the transfer was such a potential big boost for PSG both for marketing and sporting vise, that they might have made a verbal agreement with Neymar if the team doesn't perform at a certain level he can go - lets say for 200m-250m. It would also make sense for Neymar to request that because it was a gamble for him sporting vise, and for all his flaws i do consider his motivation for winning ballon d'or to be real. You cant compare Neymar case to the likes of Silva, Veratti and Marquinhos.

Yeah, signing Neymar was a huge boost for PSG, BUT since then, Mbappe became something else. I'd wager they could just capitalize on the Kyky's hype, and sell Neymar to buy 2-3 great players who could help them be a serious outsider in UCL (they desperately need at least one good midfielder and a better LB, plus they'd need a replacement for Neymar). Not saying they would do it, but it wouldn't be completely stupid of them. Not sure they expected Mbappe to become so big so fast (the WC sure helped).

Exactly. Ship has sailed. No point crying over Neymar anymore.

as much as I appreciate what Neymar did for us, the way he left the team really brought a sour mouth and I hope he never comes back to the team.

But should we even entertain the idea of him coming back? For me the dude dug his grave already.

He was warned repeatedly that his move to PSG, wasn't a good idea by so many players. Yet he still didn't listen. His father and Him lived delusions that if he moved to PSG, it would make it easier to win the Balon D'or, while making a shitload of money in the process. Yet here we are a year later and he's not even in the conversation for the award.

Neymar had it all here. He was getting paid well, He had a lot of support from the fans and players, Even the club was willing to bend backwards for him and his entourage on a number of things. Yet he threw it away because he wasn't smart enough to think everything through.

He disrespected the club and the team by keeping his intentions under wrap because of his loyalty bonus. His transfer deal put a whole dark cloud on our preseason with a new coach, everything was about Him and if he was going to stay or leave. And he threw a tantrum once he realized that we weren't going to give him his loyalty bonus.

Fuck him.

Ousmane Dembele has asked Barcelona to allow him to leave the club in the January transfer window and his exit could help facilitate Neymar's shock return.

He's much more comfortable on the RW, isn't it? So many goals came from the right side. Chelsea, Atletico, even the Spanish Super Cup decider, Real Valladolid.. His assists as well.

Dont know why Valverde doesn't use the Suarez-Messi-Dembele stuff in some games.

Messi in the Middle with Suarez in an LF Spot having Alba making up for Suarez's shortcomings on the Wing, if Coutinho isn't playing. It will at least bring some balance back to the right side which desperately needs a RW option since Messi doesn't want to stick there.

Well said:
Only this wasn’t really redemption and nor had everything suddenly changed.

Problems don’t often go away with a single goal, although it helps, and anyway nor was this a single goal.

It is a lot – no player has directly contributed more points to his team – but it is not enough. The debate is served, and it has become entrenched.

If Dembélé has decided games, he has rarely defined them, still less dominated. He has scored more decisive goals, but also given the ball away more than anyone. There’s the sense of a player disengaged, until suddenly he is winning the game.

“Everyone loses the ball; the question is what you do after that,” Valverde said. “No one doubts his talent,” said Guillermo Amor, the former Barcelona midfielder who is now the club’s director of institutional affairs, but many doubt its application.

This is for those of you who don't understand why are some of us still against him or are doubting him "even after his decisive goals".

Those runs he went on yesterday were unreal... we need that in the team sometimes
he is the plan b guy we needed years ago to bring havoc to defenses. now we finally have him and want to get rid of him because our coach is too stupid to realize how good he actually is. damage already done, senior players have already shown their true colors by dissing him publicly and so has our dumb coach, rolling his eyes when he loses every ball. he'll be gone and we'll be back to square one. what a joke.
