Well, but if we look from the other side, it was an early recovery session after a quite late game yesterday. AFAIK, Messi and Suarez always miss recovery sessions.

This one is some kind of understandable. Still, very unprofessional, but understendable. Unlike those training misses before his dropping from the squad.

I predict nothing is really going to happen in terms of punishment except for a fine and maybe a bench appearance vs the Spurs which itself is a meaningless game.

Media is pushing really hard for the Club to punish him harshly but considering this seems to have been his first fuck up an awhile and his performances have been excellent on the field and even benched Coutinho by the looks of it, I really can't see him getting harshly punished.

i respect it. shouldn't have subbed him out the game with another 30 mins to play. obviously the manager felt like he needed some extra rest

It's funny seeing Francesc Aguliar trying to paint Valverde a Victim in all this yet, has he watched EV's press conferences and even actions?

EV isn't really a fan of what the Media has been doing to Dembele. He even said during one of his conferences a couple of weeks ago that they have been the way to harsh in criticizing Dembele and has clearly been annoyed at the questions in trying to provoke a negative action from him when they ask him about Dembele in a negative way.

If what these guys report is even as bad as it sounds, then EV would have left Dembele out of the squad more often and played the likes of Malcom a lot more. Yet that hasn't happened has it? Besides that one time, he missed training before the game at Betis.

This is coming from a guy who isn't much of a fan of EV these days.

Says Barcelona can suspend Dembélé and his salary for two to ten days in addition to an economic fine that can reach up to 7% of the player's salary. If Barcelona consider the situation as very serious, the suspension could reach a month.

Arriving late at training is inexcusable though. This guy is paid millions just to kick a ball and he can't even bother to act like a professional. In the other clubs no one arrives late at training and if they do they'll give them a fine or bench them until they've learned the lesson.
