He’s going to score against Roma.

He lost the ball more than usual, made a good overhead cross to the far post to Jordi which almost led to Suarez's scoring, a 2nd individual run and cut-back to Suarez and a good solo dribble action past 2 or 3 defenders ending with a shot on target but easy stop for Rico. Not his best game but not atrocious at all, given how little he saw of the ball. One of the big issues in that game was Busi's absence, resulting in a sloppy, hesitant midfield with lots of gaps in the center exposing us to quick counter-attacks. This vulnerability could pop up again vs Roma if Pique still plays injured and Busi not at 100%. Valv could play Bob in midfield and use Semedo's quickness on the right. Roma's got good pace and attacking threat on both wings.
On the positive, players have had more time to reset from the intl. br. and they're surely pumped up after that 2 goals down comeback 10 min from the end. Let's see how it goes.
edit: dunno if Semedo is game-ready or still in recovery though...

It's not about the quality of his game, it's about attitude.
Vs. Chelsea he tracked back and showed us he could do it. Vs. Sevilla he didn't even try to.He doesnt look like has a bad attitude though he just looks a bit unsure of where to be at times and then over thinking things.
Which at 20 and his price tag is not all that surprising.
Clearly needs to get better but dont think it is an attitude problem.
Vs. Chelsea he tracked back and showed us he could do it. Vs. Sevilla he didn't even try to.
Don't know how to explain it if not with lazy attitude.

He played different roles in those games. Against Sevilla had more attacking tasks because Messi wasn't on the field and Chelsea plays with a different formation with the wingbacks which required more defensive work from Dembele. Also it's not Dembele's fault that Roberto can't defend and needs support all the time even in 1 v 1 situations, Coutinho on the other side doesn't have to do much defensive wordk because he has a real fullback on his side. And if there is a player to blame for the lack of support for Roberto it's Paulinho.
