Not happy with the way he tried to ‘steal’ Cubarsi's goal.

He could have cost us the first goal if the referee had seen him offside.

Ok, you have to be competitive and he's interested in those stats, but you mustn't let exaggerated egotism ruin team spirit.

We're not Real Madrid.

He has like 20+ assists. You know who has only 2 entire season and benefits from guys like Raphinha? :lewa:

A day after Schzeny signed for Barca as a repalcemet for Ter Stegen, he was asked by an interviewer how long it would take him to get match ready given he had retired a few months earlier. He responded that he needed just 2weeks to get back in physical and mental shape but he would need about a month to build his instincts back to a certain leve to track and react to the movement of the ball. According to him, footballers lived on instincts as they have to react and decide within nano seconds on the pitch and even more for keepers. They need to predict the projection of balls even when there are deflections, according to him.

A double slo-mo of that goal is enough to show that Raphinha had started the run towards the goal as soon as Martinez flicked on the ball from the edge of goal post. Curbasi's shot an keepers touch were in quick succession and he reacted on instinct to ensure it was a certain goal. You would see it differently if you were in the stands or watching from your TV.

If he had hesitated and that ball somehow did not go in, it is this same set of purists that would call for his head. C'mon man!!!

He did not try to steal it to stat pad. He's not CR, stop that bullshit narrative. Have you kicked a ball in your life? It's hard to fight those instincts in the heat of the moment. Also, he apologized to Cuba for it.
It's true that sometimes is not as easy as it looks on TV but in this situation Rapha had enough time and space to dodge. It's no problem if he stole the goal from Cubarsi but it would be a huge problem if he was offside and he could have been. I'm sure he did it intentionally, he wants the records and ballon d'or which is fine but he put the team in jeopardy because he could have been offside.

Plz, Don't be despising with me. Like the man below said, Raphinha has enough time to dodge this ball or let it go to the goal. The man before me said exactly what is on my mind. But, he apologized, that's the most important thing.

You're welcome
Keeper got a touch on it. Changed directory of ball. Too little time for Raphinha to consider it would still go in even though for us it is clear.

If Raphinha thought there was only a 15% chance it would hit the post could be that he still wanted to be sure it goes in before anything else.

See, would make us even more fierce if he didn't apologise for it!

This lo siento I took your goal makes it look too Martha Stewart playing Bingo at Country Gardens or Afternoon Tea at Raph-les 😂

Nah man, let the other teams follow proper dinner table etiquette and let us feast with thick babes on our laps and 🐗 in hand like the wild barbarians from Barcaria uhg! 🥳

I actually don't like the fact that he's lowered his demands on himself in terms of playing without the ball on defense lately.

I expect the same level of off the ball play I saw before March.

Those are instructions from Flick, sometimes it's better to wait in counters than run your ass off in defense every game.
