Yeah, arguments make no sense. People have no idea how it must be at real game speed on grass level. He probably had a fraction of a second to decide and the big game player mentality simply took over.

It doesn't work like some think from the couch watching from some 60m high panoramic camera.

Vs Dortmund he created more chances for his teammates than he received himself. He put Lewa vs empty net and Yamal in 1 vs 1 with the keeper. He played like a total team player vs Dortmund. Most assists, most runs, and most key passes made.

He didn't gift Lamine the goal. He wouldn't have scored that himself and needed to pass it to Lamine. Otherwise it wouldn't be a goal at all.

Yeah, assists are just the outcome of players who can't score the goal themselves and have to pass the ball.

What the fuck? It was a perfect pass from Raphinha. Best pass you could possible make from that position. Not too forward for the keeper to come out, not to backwards so Lamine has to stop.

The type of pass you only need 2 touches to put in the net. First touch and shot.

You said he gifted him the goal which isn't true. Gifting him a goal would mean that Rapha was in a scoring position himself but decided to pass it to his teammate for an easy tapin.

That wasn't an easy finish at all. Lamine made it look easy.

Was a 1 vs 1. Lamine chose a fancy finish because he is a special player, but it's an easy chance you can easily put away with a simpler execution if you choose to.

Lamine confident enough to do that toe poke nonchalant finish, but Raphinha set it on a plate basically.

Vs Dortmund it was more of Raphinha's creator ability that was evident. Could have had as much as 3 assists really. That's why it's stupid to talk about him being selfish in that game.

He was selfish vs Atletico in 1-0 win. Vs Dortmund he was our most decisive playmaker just ahead of Lamine.

The area we have sales potential in is midfield. With the return of Bernal and the potential emergence of some plug and play midget from B team means we can possibly loan or sell players like pable torre or even Gavi.

We have no need to sell anyone. Every important player with sale value is important member of this team. Maybe Araujo is a good sale if we get a big offer, which I doubt we will receive.

We need to find resources to add a good player instead of Fati, get rid of his wages, and bring in a decent back-up for fullback if possible. But I would be very happy with just Nico and the same squad next year.

But signing Nico without weakening the team as things are currently... very tough.
