Did he tried to pass to Lewa or did he see Gavi LOL

You blind or just dumb? That was a clear fake no look pass he fooled the defenders with, as they were focused on Lewa, but the intent (to pass to Gavi) was clear as day, so stop being condescending, just because he clearly proved you wrong after you talked shit about him just before.

As usual, lil Birdy wrong after foaming at the mouth to bench him all game.

Yes, he's not as good as Dembele and would/should probably be sold if Dembele could keep healthy. But he can't.

Good second half but still not sold. He has too many limitations to his game for now. Can't question his workrate though, at least he's not a passenger defensively like Ansu and Ferran.

Learning on the job as a winger.

weak right foot could explain why he never drives down the RW.

better striker ?

He is good enough to form a part of the squad rotation, that's for sure.

Has technical limitations but physically of a very high level, his movement is good, he has been finding lots of assists etc.

Maybe not as good as Dembele but not that far either and adds his own positives.

Best match so far, hoping he is getting settled and finding his rythm within the tactics.

Good game, but still he need to be sold if he can't dribble opponents, in first half we saw that he is big problem, because our tactic is overload players on one side then pass the ball on Dembele to dribble 1 vs 1...

But he have good pass and shoot, even sometimes try to much.
Also have a fighting spirit, which is great when you are not in great form.

First game have seen him doing those daisy cutter drilled passes used to do at Leeds.

Different player when comes off touchline.

Worked hard as fuck also.

All players get injured sometimes, especially in the winger position where explosive bursts are common and a lot of high intensity running is done. Even if Dembele had a great injury record I would still want to keep Raphinha.

He might not be as aesthetic but he is effective and produces goals and assists. Best quality is he never stops running and always a nuisance to the opponents making runs the whole 90 minutes, which gets him into goalscoring/assisting positions.

Raphinhas lomg balls that barely leave deck are sight for sore eyes.

He was a pressing machine in that second half.

I bet the changes at half time from Xavi were Pedri back deper with FDJ and Raphinha more central as the two deeper 'DMs' allows both full backs to get forward.
