11 - Raphinha

Madrid played off him hugely this game and gave him acres of space against Camavinga knowing he wouldn't be able to do much with it.

His technique is a bit poor. Not great first touch and not very crisp dribbling.

He's not a dribbler. Just not a consistent dribbling threat on the ball, he tries that's for sure, but just ends up being detrimental because for every 5 attempts he loses the ball on 3 or 4 or them.

Also IQ, football is not so much about what you do, but WHEN you do it.

I've said it before, he's a slightly above average player. Occasionally, he will give you a moment of brilliance, but not up to standard.

Started sharp but when downhil after 30 mins or so. Tried to pass 1 vs 1 vs Camavinga 2-3 times, didn't manage, and stopped trying after that. Bad game.

Still think he should be kept more when your alternative is fucking Ferret.

Poor back up for Dembele and not what team needs when Dembele injured.

The back up for Dembele needs to be someone who has pace and can go on outside.

Should be punted in summer but likely wont be.

He will never be an isolated RW.

Has alot of positive aspects to his game but just doesn't have that elite acceleration to skip past players.

He's predictable and once things go against him he throws tantrums and dives.

Like about 90% of our current squad, will do OK against Eibar but be invisible against quality teams.

He is shite v teams that play a high line as he can beat a man 1v1 from deep.

Having a RW who wants to cut in, with a CF like Lewa who needs pace and service from wide is a poor set up and made worse by no RB that can take width.

So many of these Barca signings are misfits and dont suit way Barca playe and it gets exposed at higher level.

a stronger (both physically and mentally) and more intense Coutinho without the technical ability

yes its a huge stretch but just reminded me of that for some reason.

He's a fine backup/rotation. But games like today show his limitations.

Can't have a front two without top pace against the tier1 sides. Didn't work with ageing Messi-Suarez when we had a similar setup and won't work with these two.

On Raphinha part, no excuses to not pass Camavinga once. Poor game and you could see his confidence being sapped from him minute by minute. Needed to come off earlier.
