It's amazing what Pep did moving Mascherano there, it has helped tremendously...Especially those nice searching balls from the back...including the one that set up Puyol's goal last night...That's the kind of thing Piqué should be doing more of - on top of shoring up his defense

I remember it very well because prior to that Donetzk game we kept on playing Busquets in the back 4. Like against Arsenal in the second leg. And I was all like: "WTF, Pep, Biscuits is too slow and we're losing midfield dominance if we play Busquets at the back and Masche in midfield, why not try it the other way around." And then in the next round he did try it the other way around. So, yeah. That's why I can't forget it.

Someone spread rumors that Masch and Abi had a heated argument after the gamper defeat. Masch dispersed those claims with a tweet saying that there's no way he could argue with a phenomenal human being such as Abi.

Also, there was some dude on this forum (dunno who; you should holler whoever that was) begging pep to play him there when Busquets was sucking terribly at it. I thought Mascherano couldn't do it, but boy was I wrong.

Amazing game by mascherano and his long passes are getting more acurate. Damn Valdez we could all be happier right now.

Behind that beastly performance was little bit of a loose pass to VV (just slightly), but if his pass was to the other side of Valdes the goal might never have happened, obviously Valdes takes full blame though...
