This is not about being one or not.
This is about learning from your mistakes, and what is clear is that he never learnt of them.

Secondly, when you play during three years as a CB, isn't normal to progress season after season ?
It is, but he didn't, and for this reason, he should leave . I really don't give a f*ck about the fact that he's from ARG or that he's one of Messi's best friends in the squad.
What we need right now is a quality centre back who can play at a level that allows us to fight against the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich (or soon Mancity).

The past doesn't matter anymore. He was a good cb when the defense wasn't getting exposed, and because Barça was the best team in the world 2-3 years ago. Now that this is not the best team anymore, and people figured out how to play Barça, he gets exposed for not being a CB. Being short also doesn't help. He is a liability. For his and argentina's sake, he should get to a team that will play him at dm.

First decent match in a very long time. My heart stopped for a minute there when he slipped and Getafe should've scored and drawn the game.

Would Barta/Pique be a better partnership be better than a Pique/Masch one? I doubt it.

A prime Masch would be the most important CB against Man City as he the best at reading the game and covering ground against teams that break.
