Barca are always playing a risky game with him in the lineup. He is far away the best tackler in the league but his style is such that if he misses the tackle he leaves acres of space at the back and takes too long to recover.

Today, he was very very good, but was lucky to not be sent off for the double studs up challenge on Costa (?? or Gabi maybe).

I was so happy to see Masch play his natural position. Man! those long accurate passes! He was in charge of midfield and ball distribution. LOVE HIM! and the beauty is he can tackle like no other and do an overall good job in defence (with some errors here and there).

He's worth so much to the club.
