We can easily rotate with both Busi and Masch and not lose quality instead we would just be swapping traits e.g tactical positioning for ball stealing / attack breaking tackles

Busi and masch as double pivot may not work because we have to accommodate neymar and iniesta on left to give messi enough space in centre. It is hard imagine double pivot like that. May be more like masch as DM and busi playing defensive xavi role. This would give ney and messi more space which is seriously needed. They we will see wonders.

Where will iniesta xavi rakitic rafinha play in that build up if neymar messi and mobile 9 plays. I am thinking you have alexis as RM in your mind?? We won't move to that. May be in some games or some part of some games we can try that.

It's not what we will play every game, we play 433 mostly, but I'd like to try it and see how it works.

Am I the only one who's worried about the fact that it looks like the club is increasing everybody's salaries? Pique, Messi, Iniesta, Busquets and now Mascherano. I thought that with Puyol and Valdes leaving, the club will pay less in salaries, but it looks like they will could be paying more. And then we wonder why JDS refuses to leave, when he's earning a gross salary of 3M euros a year to play a total of 205 minutes in the last 2 years.

I just don't see how Masche will get much time when he's no longer used as a CB and has to be backup for Busi. Having them rotate is a recipe for disaster. It doesn't matter how good someone is in midfield, you don't mess with Busquets. If Busi had been playing his position during the games we lost we'd have won the Liga with a few games to spare.

Busquets played too much this season, he was absolutely exhausted at the end of it. Of course Masch and Busquets can rotate, even though Busquets will play most games. Having Busquets fresh at the end of the season is better than having him exhausted.

But yeah, Mascherano is going to see less gametime now that he is moved to the DM position than what he did at CB. He's 30 years old, and probably has no issue with this what so ever.
