Be honest, compared to the movies (read: Silence of the Lambs) how good is the series? If Silence of the Lambs is a 10, what would the Hannibal TV series be?

Is probably worth it just because of Mads Mikkelsen.
But I don't know about watching stuff with Hannibal other than Silence of the Lambs. One of the best movies ever and Anthony Hopkins is perfect as Hannibal. So the movie spoiled every related things for me.

This is not off-topic btw. Other teams fear Masch more than Hannibal.

Not comparable, different medias. The movie is awesome. The series is very good, but a different approach to the one from the movie.

I don't really wanna give it a score since its a tv series and not a movie, but I'll give it an 8 if you want so.

This is a series which has brought back and returned the real Hannibal Lecter as he is and not like those average movies after Silence of the Lambs when he was portrayed as some vampire. Elegant and yet so dark.

On Topic: I absolutely love the decision to renew Mascherano's contract. He's an absolute beast in midfield and should be able to give Busquets adequate rest IMO and also gives us a chance to try out something different, tactical variations with a double pivot where we could use Busi and him in midfield and play a 4-2-3-1.

Off topic: Mads Mikkelsen is absolutely brilliant.

With the attacking quartet interchanging positions. However, you'd still leave out Rakitic in this formation. If we need to rest Iniesta, I'd think Rafinha is particularly suited to be his deputy in this formation.

I remember seeing him DM at Liverpool and always thought he was the best in that position. I recall a champions league game against Arsenal and Walcott (ultimate pacewhore) went on a crazy 50 yard run and Masch matched him stride for stride before dis-possessing him with a trademark sliding tackle.

With all due respect to the champion Busquets, who's intelligence and reading of the game is unparalleled but he just doesn't have the legs to contain fast attackers.

I'd love to see Busquets given an extended run in Xavi's position with Masch as the defence protector.
