There is no proof that Caceres is staying which is why I didn't mention him. If Pep really wanted him to stay don't you think he would of said something by now? I'm pretty sure on the official site a while back it mentioned it was in the plans to loan out all the players who had been loaned out the year before and if a loan wasn't possible they'd find a way to "take care of" the player...
Dos Santos has a background implying he could "maybe" handle the DM position for the first team but there is no proof or experience what so ever that any of the young CBs could handle being in the CB rotation. Most of them are still really, really young. Introducing them gradually would be great but with only Puyol, Milito and Pique officially in the books (and Abidal imo not being anywhere near playable as CB) relying on cantera seems stupid. What if one of those 3 get hurt? The young CB will have to play very often.
