Things don't work that way, I know, and it's utopian to wish for a fairer policy but I had to say it anyway.

Messi and Iniesta would be first tier
Mascherano, Busquets, Pique, Suarez second

Seems like the reason from what I could understand is Lucho, wants to give Umtiti a lot of minutes at CB. I mean this could all be MD BS but it makes sense. (Despite many disagreeing with Masche returning into the midfield).

Oh dear. I'd prefer he rest Busi than play double pivot. Against lesser sides, ofc.

Masche in midfield must mean more rest for Busi and Iniesta as they played a crapload last year. It's OK once in a while maybe not in the big games.

Juve could be testing the waters not with an imminent transfer in mind, but as a club it'd be an ideal place for Masche to test his mentor skills on young players once he slows down since he's got a career in coaching in mind. Anyway, as long as they're not getting him while he's still at top level I can sleep peacefully :)
