14 - Javier Mascherano

My god, footballers are really an entitled bunch of whiners. And the worst thing is when a lot of fans support the player that holds the club hostage - even when the said player brought the club bad publicity. I'm sorry, I'm a fan of Mascherano, Messi or Neymar as footballers but their legal troubles aren't exactly creating "good hype" around the club I support. You'd expect they would keep a low profile these days after this... but no, they ask for more money.

At one point it's becoming more feasible to refuse such a request even if it means we lose a good player - the financial health of Barcelona is way more important than the third house of Mascherano.

That's really ridiculous stuff to post about Mascherano. He's not holding anyone hostage. If anyone is actually hurting and damaging the club now, is the president, bartomeu. Players asking for a raise isn't uncommon or absurd. Especially one who always gave his all on the pitch.

Players asking for a raise is not uncommon. Actually, *anyone* asking for a raise isn't uncommon. What's so entitled about it?

Messi's has said numerous times that he does not do his taxes and was unaware that any wrongdoing had occurred.

Neymar was just a very expensive child wrapped up in illegal business between our board and the player's father.

These players bust their asses for the club every week and they can ask for more money if they damn well please.

It is good news.

I was sweating of the possibility of losing both Alves and Masche in one window. bad enough we lost Alves, do you imaging losing Masche as well? I truly dreaded the thought of it happening.
