Now that's got me wondering whether Ibra would be able to click with Torres. Not sure about that one... and it's not going to happen anyway, not enough money.

It would be disastrous if we ended up not signing Mascherano (after shipping out Ibra), our squad would simply have too few people to compete on all fronts. With Mascherano (and without Ibra), our squad will be strong enough to compete on all fronts imho; although an extra striker (Pato?) would nice of course :)

Anyway, Hodgson publicly declared that he spoke with Benitez, and that Inter did NOT want to sign Mascherano (1 week ago)? Do you think they'll suddenly change their mind?

Please Rafa, do good on your old club and take Masch awayyyy!!!

Also, this:

Lionel Messi has told Liverpool they must allow his Argentina team-mate Javier Mascherano to join him at Barcelona.

The Catalans' interest in the midfielder, whose family are unhappy in England, led to him being left out of the Liverpool team to face Manchester City on Monday, and he will miss Thursday night's Europa League clash at Trabzonspor as well.

And Messi is quoted as saying in the Daily Express: "Javier won't play for the club again, I can assure you of that, and I think the Liverpool coach knows that now.

"Javier's family are unhappy and the pressure of seeing that is making him depressed. Liverpool must act humanely and let him go."

This has got to be fake. And if it's not, you've gotta be kidding me. This is not the same as Cesc, people!
