It would be disastrous if we ended up not signing Mascherano (after shipping out Ibra), our squad would simply have too few people to compete on all fronts. With Mascherano (and without Ibra), our squad will be strong enough to compete on all fronts imho; although an extra striker (Pato?) would nice of course

Anyway, Hodgson publicly declared that he spoke with Benitez, and that Inter did NOT want to sign Mascherano (1 week ago)? Do you think they'll suddenly change their mind?

This is ridiculous, who exactly did Inters sports director speak with in this inerview? Was it the Sun? I really don't believe that Branca would give an interview to the Sun.
