15 - Andreas Christensen

News, sort of:

In theory, Barcelona expect Andreas Christensen to return after this international break, but don't want to rush him or confirm his return too soon.

— @mundodeportivo
Fake news, there is nothing credible on his return which may be linked to FFP

We have generated enough income to offset this. So maybe that's the news.
It probably wasn't a lie, but its not true right now.

So reports that Olmo's registration doesn't mess with Christensen and Araujo's ability to play were a lie?

Tebas has explained it.
Christensen is registered indeed (check Liga site) but Olmo was temporarily registered.
Now, this freezes Christensen for the 4 months that was already reported by Liga doctors, which he has already consumed 2 months of it and might take another month when you consider the international break.

This detail is important in the fact that Christensen will automatically play regardless of anything we do or don't after January. Olmo OTOH will be the guy we need to work to fully register him.

So is it possible for Christensen to play before those 4 months have passed?

It depends if we can use the margin from MATS injury to Christensen or not.
But anyway, a new report came that he isn't anywhere near ready for coming back.
At this rate, the whole thing might be about a couple of weeks maximum between his coming back and January.

We'll be asking ourselves if this guy actually played for us. Disappears from nowhere and now about to be sold. Can't remember his last game for us.

I think it was against Valencia. Flick saw him play in his system, probably not convinced. Or maybe it's a financial issue, something else, who knows. I hope we can cash out on the guy at least.

Smells financial issue from some distance.

Fatporta STILL hasn't told us ALL THE TRUTH about our finances

Even if we need to sell a defender:

1) It makes no sense to do it to bring in Tah, who is not even better than all the ones we currently have

2) It makes no sense to sell Andreas, who has been stellar for us whenever he played.

3) If have to 'sacficise' one, definetely Kounde is the one to go.
Lower than all of Araujo, Christensen, Cubarsi as of now

Club is broke i think its obvious, there have been reports even after the Nike deal. He is the one with most value that's replaceable.

Matteo Morreto actually said this means Inigo is staying and we are really eyeing Tah.

I didn't thought it was worth mentioning since it was more of an opinion rather than news.

Seems like a Flick decision, more than an economic one.

He wants Tah, but this means someone has to leave
