Batshit insane torunament by a 16 years old. Got a scorer in every knockout tie. Better than Ronaldo's international (not qualifiers stat padding) career already.

Ronaldo is a massive failure at international level.

0 goals and 0 assists in every game Portugal have exited the tournament, in 10 of 11 tournaments (the other he was injured during and they won without him. Three international goals in 21 knockout games and 1 or 2 assists (and we know he offers nothing generally outside of the stats he obsesses over).

I have watched him in every tournament, and not only is his record appalling, but he's generally one of Portugal's worst players every game they exit. Like he was in most of his CL finals.

No goals in the world cup knockouts.

People have the audacity to call him a top international player for beating up on minnows in qualifiers. It's about what you do when you get there, qualifiers should be easy work (and even with him they've finished second to teams like Serbia and Bosnia in qualifiers)
