Clearly not ready to start 3 in 10 days but we had to rely on him because of the injuries. He was gassed in the second half and it was the right decision to take him off. Did not try to go 1v1 at all in the second half.

Alarmingly, he and Cancelo also have no chemistry.

Cancelo gets into areas that over crowds Lamine.

But Cancelo should have started on the right today not Lamine.

Nah would prefer him to Raphinha in system Xavi plays.

Also it takes in money and helps with salary cap.

Did more in one game v Real than Raphinha could in years ain no mistaking.

Wait to see if Real sign Kubo then you will have him up there as one of best around.

Dont have to aim all that high if punt Raphinha.. he isnt all that great.

Time will tell but Kubo has been very good for Sociedad for a while now.

Best player on park when they played Real away and best player on park recently when they played Bilbao in the derby.

In those games he had the opposition on toast and a swagger to him to point opposition looked like didnt know how to stop him at times.

Have not seen Raphinha play like that ever for Barca in a game or even for Leeds where he is more about moments than constant threat fromwide.

Maybe it is a flash in the pan. Who knows. Lets see.
