19 - Lamine Yamal

Horatio

You're welcome
I don't think it's primadona behavior. He was right to complain, he was being ignored in open space at counters like 3-4 times, especially at the end.

were talking about ignoring raphinha when it was a very obvious pass to set up raphinha for open chance

There is no primadonna behaviour. Every player shows their frustration towards teammates at some point. Just shows how competitive top players are. They just want to win and that is not something we have been doing recently.

The fact is kid is 17 and he is smart enough to know he is his team's biggest offensive threat when he has the ball - and his teammates know this also. That is why it's always the best option to play the ball to him if possible.

Decisive yes.

I am again starting to notice some primadona behavior though.

More or less agree, not so convinced about outright primadonna behavior but first time I noticed him visibly upset when left isolated on the RW. At 17, the most normal thing in the world is for a kid to lack the maturity to let the game come to him or wait for his moments

Too early for concern but this step was an inevitable one he’d have to take before reaching the echeclon of legendary players for club - patience and focus

I said this last season, at times the team looked rudderless or leaderless - when I see things like this from him, I am reminded it remains a very young team

He is ambitious for sure. As a 17 year old it can be hard with established players around him. Yamal wants to be a protagonist and never backs down from a game. Just give him the ball as much as possible.

Nothing new he’s had this bad attitude since the Real Madrid game and only gotten worse since then

inetivable some would say I just hope he becomes an Eto and not Neymar or lord forbid Messi

Lamine Yamal of Barcelona has been named Player of the Match. The UEFA Technical Observer Panel stated: "Yamal was the biggest threat to Dortmund. He provided Raphinha with a great pass in the first half and kept looking to advance the ball. He was a constant danger every time he cut inside with his left foot and delivered a fantastic assist to Ferran Torres for the winning goal. A great all-around contribution."

Obviously he’s also motm for Whoscored (8.3 rating).

Heard Mourinho was making comments on how he prefers Nico over Lamine as a player.

Found it very hilarious, but not surprising at all. Mourinho has this understanding of football that values roadrunners and physically stronger players over actual footballers.
Absolutely agree. He has always preferred hardworking toy soldiers at his comand to talented players.

Jose's hate for Barca is real and I respect him for it, he's like they are the ops for life and it will never change.

Nothing wrong with him preferring Nico, it's the i hope he ends up wearing white part that I like the most.
The irony of course is that it was his older brother Inaki who actually spanked his Fenerbache all on his own when Nico wasn’t even playing

Mou loves Mou as does the media

These days I would prefer to hear Mournho's opinions about what's happening in Syria than what's happening in football.

They would probably be much more accurate.
