So it doesn't take a logical leap to say he's the one that makes the biggest difference in the attack and entire team this season.

By your logic we have to take one of each player out for a a run of games and see how the team performances to make a judgement.

Without him starting the team has a grand total of 0 wins, that's massive, he makes the game a lot easier for raphinha, one of the keys to raphinha stepping up a level is playing off yamal

How is it possible to have seen the record without Raphinha when he hasn't missed a single game this season?

Your argument that Lamine is the player of the season is because we lost the matches without him. That's your logic not mine.


In my opinion, Raphinha is our player of the season, because he has been our overall best performer. He is clutch, tireless, and overall most productive player. And he is the leader of the team.

Rooney Euro 2004 is not as good as Yamal 2024. Rooney in that Euro had Dembele level of first touch which the ball bounce off his feet about 1 metre.

Rooney's style of play also relied more on his physicality.

Agree. Playing too much at just 17 years old isn't a good idea.

Yamal must completely dedicate to his football life like Messi/Ronaldo. Also he needs luck to avoid major injuries.

I don't get this Yamal is carrying us at 17 rhetoric. If anything front three is well balanced when it comes to output. And if I'm not mistaken Raphinha has the most MOTM performances this season + most goal contributions in both Liga and CL. As things stand Raphinha is easily our player of the season right now.

Yamal is the most talented player and star of the team. Also, an injury to him or Raphinha would probably end our season. But he doesn't really carry us.

Not true for Yamal's playing style and tempo. And teenagers have more energy than adults.

Salary boosts should be based on output metrics the way Chelsea are doing, incentivize his earnings not that I doubt he wouldn't perform the same but as an insurance policy if he's to be given highest salary itw at some point.
