Pau Cubarsí: “I am in the second year of high school. In the morning, I train and then I go to school from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. If there's a Champions League match or if I've to travel, and I cannot go to school, the next day I ask for notes of what I missed.”

Imagine the teacher:
"Why did you miss class yesterday?"
"I had to stop Mbappe and make Vinicius cry again"
"Oh, understandable"

He can literally say fuck off to all of his studies and school altogether, and probably live a more luxurious life than all of his buddies giving it all there. Yet he doesn't.

If we demanded from a robot to make us 2 perfect academy graduates from the same generation, they'd be none other than Lamine and Cubarsi. This is crazy, suddenly we are blessed as fuck.

Forunately for him, he sees the big picture and realizes an education is important in life - not just vocationally but to build his intellectual acumen. Dumb is no way to go through life, wealthy or not

Yea that's where he and Lamine are different than a big part of their generation

Looking back at Barca vs RM. How can anyone say Barca's best player is anyone other than Cubarsi. If Barca's whole gameplay starts with the offside trap and high line we must get used to the conversation that Cubarsi is near the top of the most important player on this team.

He passes like DM. He plays basically where a normal CDM would position. While also reading the game on a defensive level of Magnus Carlsen in Chess. These players aren't offside because they are not understanding how to beat a trap. They are offside because to beat a defender you have to start your run before to get a headstart and recieve the ball on the other side. Well, if everytime they start a run and Cubarsi reads it, they will be offside basically every single time except for a perfect pass. (Usually hard to get a perfect pass with Raphinha/Casado/Pedri/Yamal pressing)

Oh and if Cubarsi gets all this credit, it's time to say Inigo is 100% vindicated from last season. I hated on him. I did not know that it came down to Xavi as to why he wasnt great.
