When you have a competent manager and GK, it helps even when you get a red.
Araujo took all the blame last season, while Cubarsi was saved from the same fate by Flick and Tek.

True. But still, we shouldn't be doing those tackles in these situations. Araujo's was early in the game while having a healthy lead from the previous game and this one was early in the first game of the tie. Tek, fullbacks and Flick saved this one, but would much rather conciede one in the first 30 minutes than have to survive 60+ minutes with 10 men and be without a starting defender in the next game.
