20 - Dani Olmo

There’s no saving him, he’s 26 and made of glass.

He’ll keep missing his 20 or so matches per season.

Wasn't that just one major ACL though?

That comp would be more gavi or did you have many little injuries before that?.

I want Florian Wirtz as our CAM if Olmo is going to be rehabbing half of the season every year.

Oh i gotta i read it wrong, thought you said wirtz came back from these type of constant injuries.

He's a Barca fan, so we have a chance, but his price will be super high.

Gundogan was good.. but clearly not what a top team needs to win when playing off likes of Lewa.

100% correct he had to go and legs went more as season went on.

There is no way Barca would be playing this way with Gundogan.

Impossible

Which is exactly the reason Flick wanted him gone and he is being paid to play at City.

Usual folk still with zero understanding why likes of Gundogan had to go.
Not to get between the on going with you and Jam but comments like this makes me think you have little idea about football beyond a crazy cult-like fetish for players. You pick a position but dont care to do a simple resesrch to see if it is warped or not

Internet is full of reports Flick came out openly stauting he wanted Gundo to stay but the player wished to leave. It was Gundos decision, not Flicks. Gundo also gave an interview after resogning for City that he left to help yhe clubs financial situation. If Gundo had been an Umtiti(refusing to leave his contract until settled) Olmo would have been watching La liga from the stands despite the 60m.

Gundo also played CM/AM under Flick in the German team while deploying the same systrm he is using at Barca now( a chaotic 3-2-4-1), slightly ahead of Kroos, even being the team captain . A new coach at a new club willing to deploy his own new tactis will defintely prefer a player that is used to such tactics than a new one who needs time to adapt. Flick never even had any day in all the signings. He was too new to be consulted.

Gundogans legs had gone and him behind Lewa was never going to work.

Hence why Flick wanted him gone and Barca are paying him to play for Man City.

Flick was 'consulted' on plenty of the players and club let him decide.

Gundogan decided he 'wanted to leave' after meeting with Flick.

Quite clearly he was told his role would be reduced and could explore options to leave.
